For those who go cross-country skiiing, this will do them good. You can explore the beauty of our Mallnitz valley in the National Park on the best-prepared cross-country ski tracks. There are 20-25km of cross-country ski tracks available, all of which have been awarded with the Track Quality Seal.

In the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park Ankogel is one of the mountains in Carinthia that is sure to have snow - fun in the white snow is guaranteed. Our local mountain is 2,700m above sea level and it has 2 gondola lifts, 4 tow lifts and a total of 35km of pistes. It is a family ski resort with pistes at all degrees of difficulty. The Mölltaler Glacier, Carinthia's highest ski resort at 3,100m above sea level with 7 lifts and a total of 48 km of pistes, is suitable for everybody (22 km away from Mallnitz). In any case, you'll find the ideal slope for your personal requirements.
